Baked Egg Challenge Redux
« on: February 02, 2015, 12:41:59 PM »
Wish us luck tomorrow.  DD is having another baked egg challenge.  DD's egg RAST was down to 3.65 when she was tested for inclusion in a clinical trial. Her number was too low to include her in the study, but the upside was an earlier date for her baked egg challenge, which had been scheduled for November 2015.

I really think I'll need the luck more for getting DD to adhere to the daily dosing after the challenge.

DD is four doses in and everything is going well. She's had the equivalent of 1/16 of an egg. We've created a monster. She loves the taste of the cupcakes.

I am so, so happy it's going well.  And that she loves them!!  That will make staying with the daily dose much easier.

We're up to an 1/8, which is where we'll stop, and there are no problems.

We have been discharged. Our starting dose is 1/8 of an egg. DD had no problems, and she loved the cupcakes. She's eager to do the baked dosing.
