Finally having the time to update, should anyone be planning to go.

Traveling there with allergies to PN,TN, Sesame and Chick Pea was not difficult, because none of those things are widely used in food, though TN are very widely used in desserts.  DS just didn't eat dessert, but that is no different from here.  As long as you stick to traditional Polish and Eastern European restaurants, and don't go for any nouvelle Polish cuisine, it was easy-peasy.  There are no pecan crusted tilapia pierogies.  ;)

However, there is little to no awareness of FA's there.  The chef cards we had printed drew blank looks when we handed them out.  I imagine traveling to Poland with Milk, Egg, Wheat, etc. would be extremely difficult and risky.

While in a restaurant in Krakow, we overheard a family with a small child explaining FA's to their Polish family (they were apparently in Poland visiting the wife's family).  Their son is PN and TN allergic.  They were having a great deal of trouble getting them to understand the concept.  They also had some misinformation regarding airborne sensitivity, and I wanted to approach them to discuss it, but the husband and wife were having a huge argument over something else so it didn't seem like the right time to engage them.
