On no! I see that happen so many times on their Facebook page. I would absolutely replace mine. I use it all the time, even just to cook big batches of chicken for lunches. Today I made French dips.

Oh no, that is a bummer, Ciel!  I really like using mine.  I made a great beef and barley soup/stew this weekend.  I also made some beef stock from some marrow bones they had at the grocery store.  I am using it more than my stove top of late.  My dd commented that it is like a new toy for me.  It really is, lol.

I would watch for a sale price, since they do always go on sale.

See if you can return it. Some companies will take anything back. Worth a try. It really shouldn't melt like that.

I think she had in sitting on a stove burner that got turned on Bensmom.  But, yes, if it were LLBean they'd replace it!  I have heard the CS for Instant Pot is very good.

I blew it.   I hesitated, and now the price is up to $89.99; it was $59.99 a few weeks ago.

Ah well, I can wait.

Simple thing, but they come out great!  Hard boiled eggs.  5 minutes HP, then 5 NR, then 5 mins. in ice bath.  They slide right out of the shells.
