I don't mind if it happens at home, but if I am bringing the eggs for other people to eat, I'd like the shells to be intact.

Has anyone tried a peppers and sausage dish yet?

I had my first cheesecake fail.  I have no idea what happened.

I did everything the way I always do, but when I took the top off, I could see right away it was a total fail.  It poofed way up, cracked, then deflated, leaving the crust exposed and soggy.  I made it for a work event on Friday, and really won't have an opportunity to try another one.  I *could* go out now and pick up more ingredients, but I'm dog-tired and not feeling it.  I think I'll just hit a bakery on the way to work Friday AM and pick something up there.   :disappointed:

I do have some condensed milk in the oven right now for Dulce de Leche, which I was planning to top the cheesecake with.  I guess I can still do that.

ETA:  This project was clearly not meant to be.  I just took my Dulce de Leche out to stir it, and it was totally scorched.  WTH?  I make it the same way, in the same pan, all the time.  I think I'll just retreat to the sofa with a cup of tea and watch some TV.  :dunce:

Either was the relaxing on the sofa.  I had to run over to Auntie's for what turned out to be a total non-emergency.  Thankfully!

Yes...I love yogurt.  My IP is not a duo.  No yogurt setting.  I have made yogurt, well, labneh, which is yogurt, then strained until thick, more like cream cheese, than Greek yogurt, but not as stiff as cream cheese.  I've just done the regular way, before IP.

We used the instant pot on the pool deck the other day...threw in 2 packages of frozen meatballs, 2 cans of diced tomatoes, some onions and we had frozen some leftover tomatoes from the previous swim meet and threw those in also.  Served as meatball sandwiches with grilled onions and peppers on rolls/or in bowls for the coaches lunch.

The one time I heated frozen meatballs in mine, the sauce scorched on the bottom.  Do you have that problem, anyone?  Solution?

I love the instapot!! I made pot roast tonight. Delicious! And so nice to sauté and cook in same place. Truly a one dish meal that was ready quickly!

I made this yesterday. I found it needed more liquid, so I added some broth when I reheated it. I also substituted artichoke hearts for the green olives since DH hates green olives, and i think they would add too much salt.
