Food for those with F/A at evacuation centers/Houston
« on: August 29, 2017, 06:06:28 PM »
I'm watching Houston Flooding - KPRC News 2 Houston Live Local News - Hurricane Harvey on youtube. The announcer listed new evacuation centers that are opening and has asked for "donations of pillows, blankets, toiletries, and snacks including food for those with food allergies, such as those people allergic to peanuts".

I'm glad to see evacuation centers recognizing food allergies but thought I'd also mention it in case there are members nearby that can donate.

I'm going to share this in the Hurricane thread as well, if you don't mind.  (If you do, please let me know!)

Please put it anywhere you like! I wasn't sure which thread it belonged in.
