Always mention FA to medical providers
« on: July 21, 2017, 09:56:43 AM »
Just a little story:

My DD is getting teeth out at the oral surgeon. When I scheduled it, I told them about her PA and latex allergy. I wrote it on her form. Then when the assistant was asking questions about her past history of asthma as she was about to start working on her, I asked if she knew about her allergies. She said, "What?? You have a peanut allergy? You should write that on the form! I just ate peanuts." I told her I did write it on the form.

She got someone else to work on her.

Oh wow. That is such a scary situation.

Yeah, with DS' mouth stuff, it's something I really worry about.
Me: Sesame, shellfish, chamomile, sage
DS: Peanuts
