Just noting that we're ALL going to get our flu shots when DD gets home from campus this evening.  Lucky us-- this year it's FREE thanks to DH's employer.

We got our just over a month ago, the first day they were available here.  And my husband got his very first flu shot this year too.  Yay!!  (He caught the flu last year and was horribly sick and miserable and swore he'd get his flu shot every year - and he held true to his word.)

Atticus got his first shot in November, and his second dose a week ago.

He didn't even cry.  About five seconds after the nurse gave him the shot, he started to make a pouty face, and I looked at him and said: "Oh no, you don't get to cry now when everything is over and done."  He looked at me and started laughing.  Easiest shot appointment ever.

Thank you for the reminder, Mumaluke!  I get mine at work, and I'll be sure to start nagging reminding my kids to get theirs!

Good to see you here.

With DD being 750 miles away, and DS being almost 3,000 miles away, the best I can do is tell them they should do it.  And in DS's case, he will have to wait until after his birthday in just over a month (he is just shy of 18, so would need my consent).  Hopefully they will.  DD, who hates needles, has been somewhat good about it. DS doesn't mind needles at all.  But he doesn't do much of anything without a nudge.  I will get mine, though.
