Have any of you tried these? Pepperidge Farms has them out for the holidays. The chocolate caramel variety tastes just like Twix! And they are safe for egg and peanut! :happydance:

Pepperidge farms is a division of Campbell's. I've always been ok with their labeling. There are no nuts of any kind listed on the label.

Yes, I've seen them in ours also...I could swear I read the package a couple months ago and they weren't safe, but it's been so long who knows.  I'll have to check again.

Just sat on phone with Pepp Farm.

Per customer svc rep, Pepperidge Farm DOES label for May Contain/Shared Facility.

If the ingredients have ZERO mention of pnut or treenut and the package does NOT state "May Contain" as to pnut/nut then the product should be acceptable for PN/TN allergy.

NOW -- Disclaimer -- ALWAYS read YOUR label and doublecheck with Pepperidge Farm if unsure.

But THIS package on my desk would appear to be acceptable to feed my PA/TNA kids.

Hope this is helpful.

At Target, I checked the white chocolate variety...that one DOES contain egg, but again no nuts. The chocolate Carmel one is the one I'm in LOVE with.
One thing about PF Aja's is they NEVER bold anything...and the writing on their labels is so tiny....but they do label well otherwise.

Oh - I've been finding Tim Tams for about 2 years, sporadically, in various grocery stores, Walmart, Target, KMart. I have not tried the caramel ones...but now I am on the search! I'm having a vague recollection of seeing them recently on a store end-cap...somewhere...and then this post happened which reminded me I'd seen them.

Nameless- at my Target they are only @ the checkout end caps. Couldn't find them in the cookie aisle or the PF bread section

I saw them in the Christmas section at Target.

I didn't realize PF is a division of Cambells who has caused so many mystery reactions for both boys.  Yeah, even the stuff that doesn't say wheat apparently has wheat, grrrr.  And since DS2 has a few (or at the least one) unidentified allergies, that doesn't surprise me either.

Not to say DS2 hasn't had some PF products (they will probably never be safe for DS1 due to gluten and egg), just didn't realize the connection.
DS1 - Wheat, rye, barley and egg
DS2 - peanuts
DD -  tree nuts, soy and sunflower
Me - bananas, eggplant, many drugs
