Ingredients of Mixed Nuts on United Airlines?
« on: August 11, 2012, 10:36:02 AM »
Does anyone know of the specific ingredients in the nut mix served in first class on United?  Is it the traditional "mixed nuts" or is it a specific blend?  I'm only allergic to Brasil nuts and the pictures I've seen, I can't see Brasil nuts in them.  Any ideas?  I'm flying in a few days, so a prompt response would be helpful!!

Honestly, I would call United directly to find out what is in their mixed nuts because suppliers change.  That way you will know for sure what is in there.
DS1 - Wheat, rye, barley and egg
DS2 - peanuts
DD -  tree nuts, soy and sunflower
Me - bananas, eggplant, many drugs

And I would add that I certainly wouldn't chance eating them anyway.  Better safe than sorry @ 30,000 feet!
