When do you check your "safe" sources again?
« on: January 27, 2013, 07:46:34 AM »
Just curious, how often do you check those dependable, safe, and standby sources of food to ensure they are still safe?

I've learned, I don't check often enough.

Unfortunately, our story is in the Reactions section.

Just curious what other's do.

differs depending on the company.

A company that labels well for "may contain" I read the label each time, but I don't call.

A product that I eat regularly, but the company policy does not include "may contain" statements....I'm not sure how often I call.   ???  If I notice a new product from them I'll call.

A product I eat occasionally, from a company that doesn't label well I call each time I purchase.  And sometimes that means I don't purchase.

We're a bit like Silver.

We probably do NOT check often enough-- and in recent news, DD suspects that TraderJoe's soymilk is no longer being run on egg-/nut- free lines.  <sigh>

Resistance isn't futile.  It's voltage divided by current.
