This webinar will take a look at some of the issues of epinephrine availability and administration by EMS providers, including the legislation, guidance documents, and some individual state initiatives. Results from a recent survey of almost 1,000 pre-hospital caregivers will also be presented.

Now for interested parties.

She starts out with an "familiar scenario" that you go for epinephrine in your purse and it's not there? WTF? So you call 911 and think everything is going to be OK?

Agency differences in funding, geography. If you've ever been in local government agency nothing new for protocol differences, laws, systems.

DOT oversight? I didn't know that. Makes sense, tho.

Lower level EMS personnel work under director's who develops protocol for epinephrine use, or non-use.

Overall message: DON'T RELY ON EMS. lol. alrighty. I'm sure they'll understand.

Numbers are wonky on some questions when almost half of respondents skipped question.

OK, FYI, there is nothing new here. It's a matter of how much of a hot mess EMS is for anaphylaxis.

The FARE lobbyist is there. Good. This is going to take money and lobbying.

File concerns or complaints with local head of EMS could be fire, or other.

DOT oversight though--really? Need to look into that.
