No trouble accessing the Forum, but can't access the second page of emojis from my iPhone.

Anyone else having this problem, or is it my phone?

It pops up a new window (in the background) on my phone, so I always have to go hunt for it.  The emojis also have text that you can use to insert them - for example the waving hand would be typed : bye : with no spaces between the word and the colons.  I've attached a Word doc that shows what to type for each emoji for you to use if you can't find (or don't get) that separate emoji window.

Thanks - oddly enough, right after I posted it worked just fine. Temporary glitch maybe?

Anyone having trouble getting on boards today?

Had somebody ask at FB page and put in an error/message page that I do not understand (maybe should send to Admin?) . . .

Is this where I blame iPhone and cuss like an old fighter pilot's wife?

I was sent an email - wonder if it was the same user...

Yes it was the same person and I am back.  Just messaged you both.  I could not get on with my laptop, my phone or DD's laptop all day yesterday and the night before.  I just got on now!  So happy to be reconnected.  Did not like that gibberish page!  Thank you both!

OLI in general was down last night.  Don't know how long, but about midnight-ish in N. America?

Resistance isn't futile.  It's voltage divided by current.

I think OLI usually tries to do server maintenance when the fewest people will notice.  I, too, noticed there was trouble accessing the forum yesterday afternoon for a short time and then in the middle of the night.  I'm guessing whatever the issue was in the afternoon was repaired during the overnight hours.  If for some reason things go down again over the weekend, please use our Facebook page or the admin email to communicate with us.

I can access today but it is very very slow and it won't load a thread at all at times.  I've logged in and out of my computer to see if that helps.  I posted a couple times and in between had to log back in and out of the site.  I just did that to come post here.

Perhaps the holiday weekend is maintenance time?  Or the opposite, no one is watching to keep things running smoothly?

Unfortunately, yesterday afternoon and evening I was away from my computer (prom dress shopping), so I didn't see the problem until late last night.  I had planned to contact them when I got to work this morning, but it was fixed by the time I got here so I didn't call. Maybe in a few days I'll call or email and ask about it just to satisfy my curiosity, but I'm sure they're busy enough right now without me adding to it.  Of course, if more problems occur I'll contact them right away - I'm hoping yesterday was the final fix, though!

My guess would be that whatever the issues were over the weekend required some kind of server replacement or upgrade and  during that it affected the availability of our content.  I'm guessing the index pages are different from the thread content pages and they migrated them differently, so that's why those were available when the content wasn't.  Again, all just a guess.

I haven't had trouble until this morning.  Couldn't connect at all to the website.

I wasn't sure if my trouble was the same as what others have been having for the past few days.

Hopefully it was just a glitch for me.
