Have you discovered any soy free products

Mccobre I was just reading the products on that site and they state "made in a facility of treenuts and soy etc"

Which should cause most concern:

A label that says May Contain

or

A label that says made in a facility, etc, etc

or

do they both mean the same thing

Here's the fun part- they can mean different things depending on the manufacturer! There is no standard definitions for cross-contamination warnings (yet).

They have fries and several other items without soy, too. http://www.iansnaturalfoods.com

I usually get McCain's fries, though, which are made with canola oil.

http://www.mccainusaretail.com/

Apparently, their (McCain's) tater tots are safe, too- hadn't tried them because they contain "spices" and don't specify, but the webiste shows them to be free of soy, nuts, treenuts! Yippee!!

It looks like everything is safe but a few of their seasoned items.

Sad day for me. I saw the Ian's in associated supermarket, wholefoods and fairways. Was very happy until I read tomato in one and garlic in the other. I was so dissapointed, dd can't have them.

I picked up some stuff today in hopes of making her some bars. I picked up figs, papaya, raisins, guava paste. I don't know what to do with it but the plan is to somehow mix it with the bland corn cereal and make some kind of bars. I figure marsh mallow would have to be the glue so I'll have to make marsh mallow too. Gotta find a recipe.

I found some convenience foods that are safe for soy, TNA and PA. It travels, needs no refrigeration. You add water and put in the microwave and they were pretty tasty.

The name brand is Trader Joes. I tried the Spanish Lentil soup, it's full of lentils and was filling. There are other var. DD cant have them, she can't have lentils but I'm checking the others when I go back.

Most of what they sell is safe. They do have a couple of things that contain soy or wheat, but the rest is safe.
