ButterBall-Deli Meat-Safe now?
« on: September 27, 2012, 07:55:10 AM »
Hello,

Before I remember reading a thread and learning that the Butterball deli lunchmeat, the browned turkey, was browned in a mixture that included peanut oil. When I go to their website, it says they would mention it and doesn't list it. Has something changed? Anyone with PA/TNA buy their turkey lunchmeat from the deli?

I called. The Website only says vegetable oil but the Customer Servie rep confirmed they still brown it in peanut oil and don't list it. Ugh!!

Yeah, they should probably label for that...
