That is really interesting-- confirms what pulmonologists have known for a long time-- that poor sleep/inadequate rest can definitely impact asthma, and not in a good way.

Of course, asthma can impact sleep quality, too, so....    :-/
Resistance isn't futile.  It's voltage divided by current.
