Just checked the mini chips and regular semi sweet chocolate chip and there was no warning. Is this new?

I will have to look tomorrow. Last I checked there was still a warning.

They have a new peanut-free facility. I'm not sure about tree nuts but I'm assuming those too. Found out on Facebook, I think people posted the question to their FB page. The labeling is correct, just keep an eye out.

ETA: Found this. Looks like it's a peanut-free portion of the factory, not completely nut free but close to it. http://dairyfreetoddler.blogspot.com/2014/11/nestle-toll-house-chocolate-chips.html

Yes, I noticed the warning was gone too.  Since DS is not PA, and they used to be safe for TNA, we still use them, but it was weird to pick up the package and not see the warning.

So I've always used Hershey chocolate chips. Can't get them right now thanks to Covid. Do people use the nestle semi sweet morsels with nut allergies currently? I can't find any info on their website and am looking to send some cookies to DS tomorrow...

I called this morning. Semi sweet morsels are made in a separate facility from nut flavored. Excellent!
