Hello,
Has anyone been to universal lately? Wondering if you might recommend some places that can accommodate us. We are also going to Disney but my understanding is that it is easier there?

Your go to chain restaurants are also welcome for these allergies too.

Thanks so much
Child: ana to peanuts and suspected shellfish avoiding for now.

Welcome!

We have a thread on Universal Studios here:
City Walk, Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Orlando

My family deals with peanut and shellfish, so you can see my notes about this at Universal knowing that.

And you may want to see the list of Orlando park threads here:

Me: Sesame, shellfish, chamomile, sage

Thanks for bumping Mac!  We are going to Universal for one day during our trip to Florida.  I am not sure if we will try to eat there or just bring our own food.  I did speak to someone who ate at The Hard Rock with multiple food allergies and had success.  I am thinking about calling them bc I know one of my kiddos would LOVE to go there.

I have heard recently that the parks themselves are still iffy, though better than years past. The hotels on property still have really great chefs and ability to make allergy-friendly meals.
ANA peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, potato, sorghum

I'm probably going to combine this thread with the other one, so we can keep information in one place.
