Info on Washington Nationals game needed

Hi, My name is Angela from NH.  My family will be visiting DC in April and am considering a Nationals game.  I cannot find any thread regarding the Nationals game park and people's experience or input.  Can you point me in the right direction?  Thank you!

I don't know anything about the Nationals' park, but I'm going to move your post to the main discussion board so hopefully someone with experience will see it and answer.

ETA:  I found this info about peanut free games for 2015, but maybe you could contact the person mentioned in the article for 2016 dates.

We have done a peanut free game (twice IIRC). Those are two to three games a year and the seating is in a corporate type box pretty far from the field.

A couple of years ago, we took our daughter to a Yankees-Nats game and sat in the regular seats. A girl directly behind DD started shelling peanuts; I nicely asked her mom if they could shell them away from DD and they graciously complied. There was also a man who did the same over the extra seat we had purchased (BIL was unable to come with us); again, I asked him if he could refrain from doing that, and he graciously complied. Our seats were a row our two in front of the overhang for the second level seats. It was a breezy day, and we had peanut skins rain down on us from above. DD did not have any reactions, but it wasn't the most relaxed environment to watch the game. I would probably do it again but I'd either purchase seats well in front of the overhang or well under.


In terms of food there, DD was able to have a hot dog from Ben's Chili Bowl and may have had a pretzel or popcorn.
