NEW Peanut Allergy Prevention Product Survey
« on: May 03, 2015, 01:27:47 PM »

We are Antera Therapeutics, a new startup company looking to provide a primary prevention therapy for allergies in children. In collaboration with several top allergists in the Boston area, we have developed a product and regimen for primary prevention of childhood allergies, beginning with peanuts. We would love to have your feedback, especially if you are a parent with allergic children.

If you would be willing to participate in a short survey, please visit: https://antera.typeform.com/to/NPyjIi

Please visit our website www.anteratherapeutics.com or email info@anteratherapeutics.com with any questions, comments or concerns you might have, or just to learn more about us!

Thank you in advance for your time and we hope, with your help, we are able to significantly decrease the incidence of childhood allergy!

To my knowledge, formal recommendations for prevention therapy have not come out yet.

How are you licensed?

It is some liquid you give to your baby and the survey says your baby wouldn't ever develop peanut allergy.  They ask how much you would be willing to pay for it and give options from $0 up to $1000 and over $1000.

'This product contains the optimal distilled peanut extracts plus efficacy boosting vitamins.'

Then it says, 'for the first dose would you rather have... medically supervised, flexibility of doing it at home, other.'

In the future they plan to offer this for other allergens to prevent them (by early exposure) and offered choices for the person taking the survey's preference--peanut, egg, soy, tree nut, ragweed, pollen, dustmites, shellfish, other.'
