DS passed his sesame challenge today so now he can try hummus.  Sabra is out since they have a flavor with pine nuts.

I don't know that I've seen Tribe locally, but I really haven't been looking either.

Q: Does Tribe Hummus contain allergens or nuts?

A:  Our hummus does not contain any wheat, soy, fish, shellfish/crustaceans, peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs or mustard allergens.

Tribe Hummus is crafted in a nut-free zone! So if you're allergic to peanuts and/or tree nuts, it's safe for you to enjoy all the Tribe Hummus you'd like. However, our hummus, like most hummus, does contain tahini, which is made from ground sesame seeds. Sometimes individuals are allergic to sesame seeds. The pita chips in our Tribe To-Go pack also contain the gluten allergen.

Congrats on the challenge success!!

Not sure if you're avoiding pine nuts due to seed allergy or TN allergy, but FWIW, pine nuts are seeds. I think that holds true "allergy-wise" as well.

Wow, took them a while to get back to me but here is a response from Joseph's

Hello and thank you for your inquiry.

We do produce a hommus that is made with Pine Nuts, but it is run on its own dedicated line.

I hope you have found this to be helpful.
