What kind of Pam do you use?  I'm thinking of making one this weekend, since DS is home.

Mine arrived yesterday and I am already super confused... But I plan to experiment with it this weekend.

Is there a master website of Instant Pot recipes for those of us who have to follow recipes and directions? I can rarely spontaneously create a recipe until I have tried it three or four times.  I need instructions and directions to follow... At least to get me started.  Almost all the recipes in the book that came in the box use meat, which we don't eat.

There are vegan IP recipes if you google, as well as two vegetarian IP FB groups. I have not found te FB groupsnhelpful. I can do vegan but am looking for vegetarian recipes.  I want to see if there are enough things for me to cook to invest in one.
Me: Sesame, shellfish, chamomile, sage

Here is a list of some of the table of contents:

Winter Squash and Kale Risotto
"Baked" Beans
Four Bean salad
Ethiopian Red Lentil stew
Apple-Herb Braised Brussels sprouts
Spiced Sweet Potatoes and Apples
Okra with Ginger and Tomatoes
Ratatouille
Thai Red Curry
Simple Vegetable Stock
Portuguese Kale Soup
Sweet Potato Soup
Lentil Soup
Corn Chowder
Anasazi  Bean and Winter Vegetable stew
Collard Rolls
Lentil, Winter Squash and Mushroom Chili
Moroccan Chickpea Stew
Shepherd's Pie
Winter Squash, Millet and Green One-Pot
Red, White and Blue Quinoa
Herbed Polenta
Pumpkin Spice Steel Cut Oats
Apple Berry Crisp
Peaches Poached in Red Wine
Moist chocolate cake
Spiced Quinoa Pudding
Soy Milk
Soy Yogurt

The other book has less informative titles, so if you give me an idea of what you want I can look. But becca's right, there are lots of recipes on the web. If I can help save you time from looking I'm willing to send them to you. Just let me know. There might be one or two recipes that contain potato, and I think there is one that calls for sesame seeds, but I made sure that they were all peanut and tree nut free.

We tried two types of rice this weekend.  The rice:water ratio in the book was waaaayyyyy off for wild rice and we ended up with mush.  We then cooked sushi rice with the rice:water ratio on the bag and had PERFECT rice.  It is a keeper, for rice cooking alone.  We make sushi rice at least three times a week (for all uses, rarely ever sushi).  Woohoo! Goodbye old nasty burnt rice cooker...
