DH appears to have had a reaction to touching a tomato plant.  Would that mean eating the tomatoes would be risky?

hezzier

Not necessarily.  Was the plant treated with pesticides?  Does he normally eat tomatoes without a problem?

So my sister has a friend who has to cover all skin in order to mow the lawn in Maine due to a caterpillar.

Could you have something similar?

SilverLining

No sign of caterpillars. And the plants are in my yard, so no pesticides.

He's never had problems eating tomatoes, but he's also never previously had problems with the plant. I did say, at least we have Claritin, and I'll let him use one of my epi's. He actually laughed.
