I don't know when they put this info on their website, but it certainly is encouraging.  Maybe some other companies will take notice and follow suit.

Allergen-Free Facilities
We are pleased to announce that we now have a large number of our Dove Milk and Dark Chocolate products manufactured in a dedicated manufacturing facility that does not produce any products containing peanuts or treenuts*. This means that the following products are now acceptable options for consumers with concerns around peanuts and treenuts. While we started producing some of these products over a year ago, there still may be some of the previous products (with "May contain peanuts and treenuts" on the label) on the store shelf. Therefore, as always, please remember to read the label first for the most up to date and accurate information.

***then it gives a list of products to look for

Fabulous!  We should write to them to thank them.  It's human nature to make yourself heard when you're p.o.'d, but I think it's nice to let companies know when they're doing something right!

Andes makes a peppermint crunch candy around the holidays that has been peanut, tree nut (and egg) free in the past.  There are two versions: one in the traditional size and one that's a larger square size.  I love the non-traditional size.  I've found it at my Target in VA in past years.  I haven't checked yet this year.

Just bought the Milk Chocolate Caramel ones today!

Adrienne, Andes has the peppermint crunch at my Walgreens, 3/$4!  SO ADDICTIVE.  They have the peanut X'ed out on the back :D
