IOFC in a few months
« on: July 28, 2012, 11:20:43 AM »
In a few months, we will be having an IOFC at CHOP.  I'm nervous and excited ... and either way ... it will be good to know.  I wish it could happen before school starts, but at least they have agreed to do it.

If we pass, wow ... I am not going to go there yet in my mind.  Keep hope in its place for now.

If we fail, dd will know what a reaction can feel like (hasn't had one since she was a baby) and we as a family will know that what we are doing to keep her safe is necessary.

Good luck!  I think your reasoning is extremely sound.  This is the attitude with which we've approached both of DD's food challenges.
Resistance isn't futile.  It's voltage divided by current.

Lots of luck and wishing you calm nerves (easier said than done!)
