Granola Bar help!
« on: January 17, 2014, 07:43:08 AM »
I'm looking on Peanut Free Planet for some safe granola bars, but most of them contain sunflower seeds (which I can't have).. and I can't get any "No Nuttin'" brand granola bars into my cart for some reason.  Does anyone know of any other brands that have safe granola bars?  I'm about to look at the Quaker Canada ones, but it kind of freaks me out that they say PN/TN Free when the US version clearly isn't.

I also avoid fish and shellfish.

DS (PN and TN allergic) has been eating the Canadian Quaker bars from PFP for at least 5 years now and he has never had a problem with them.

My Target sells 2 different Quaker bars (apple and berry I believe) that are also safe for PN and TN allergies.

We also order the Quaker granola bars from PFP.  In fact, I should order some soon.

Just went to look, haven't ordered in a while, but boy do I hate when websites change.

We use the Quaker ones from PFP too.  After so many years of thinking all granola bars were off limits, it was pretty strange to give dd one for the first time.

NoNuttin is now Libre Naturals (and they have both Canadian and American online stores)  They definitely have sunflower seeds in their facility, so I'm not sure if they would be safe for you.  If they are, you can order straight from them now.  We buy a lot of things from them, including PN/TN/dairy-free sunflower seeds and trail mix with sunflower seeds.

How long do you typically have before the granola bars from pfp expire? I was debating ordering $100 worth of granola bars to get free shipping as I am too lazy to drive up to Canada during winter.
DD: PA/TNA/EA (baked eggs are okay)
