Additional reading and helpful links? (ajasfolks2)
« on: September 06, 2011, 04:43:25 PM »

Opening Post:

ajasfolks2 -- just one page of their "newsletter" which I still cannot figure out how to directly access from their website -- cannot see the link, but eyes are tired.
If you want to read other months & years, just change the numbers near the end of the link -- e.g. 0606 = June 2006 newsletter. This particular link has story about lawsuit against a camp by diabetic, suing to be able to attend & be accommodated. Kind of interesting & I think has some applicability to our own situation in LTFA world. JMPHO, of course.

You could read all night and not get through everything at that website. Just speaking from current, personal experience anyway.

ETA: this link has searchable data base. I put in food allergy (no quotation marks) and got 98 hits -- much to read . . .

hope this is helpful to anyone and everyone.

PS -- Please feel free to add any comments or links here that may be helpful as to the legal aspects of having disability accommodated, among other legal issues related to LTFA.
