Sorry that happened, but great job using epi! Hope she is feeling better now and you are sleeping!

Thank you all!  DD is just fine today.  She slept until 9:30 and DH got up with her.  I got up about an hour ago and she is happy and bouncy and thankfully running and dancing.  Her leg hurt so much from the Epi she was afraid to walk on it last night.  The hospital and the EMTs and the paramedic were great.  They all said better safe than sorry.

We are off to fill prescriptions, pick up a few things including a treat for dd - she wants a sonic c screwdriver.

Glad that you were able to sleep in, Mary.  Take it easy on yourselves today.   :smooch:

Hugs to you and your entire family!❤️ I'm glad she is ok!!

We are following up with the dr today.  She's still complaining some things but is ok.  I really think her allergy cup is full right now and whatever it was on Friday tipped it.  I'll update later.

Have you contacted BK?  DH's first response was that a worker XCed the food.

DD is fine.  The dr prescribed 2 more days of steroid.  His DD has the same name and allergies as my DD.  She's 20 and away at college.  Ive never had this dr before but he studied with Dr. Sampson when he was in medical school!

Thanks 2ndGenAllergyMom!

I can tell my DD is super nervous after last Friday.  She tells me multiple times a day about a scratchy throat or  feeling like  something is in her throat.  Part of it is her seasonal allergies.  This fall has been tough.  Part is stress/nerves.  We are having a sleepover tonight.  DH & DS are too.  Just before she fell asleep I told her more about my very bad peanut reaction and about how I felt afterwards...I'm hoping it helps her feel more secure bc I'm so highly stressed and her telling me about every itch may just do me in.

I can't really think of much to say except to hang in there!   :grouphug:  It's already hard to find the right balance between constant vigilance and not developing a phobia--and after a frightening reaction that's got to be hard.
