Title: Article about the Australian Restaurant's Epi Pen/PB dessert Ad
Post by: hezzier on August 23, 2019, 03:07:48 PM
I know we talked about this ad somewhere, but I don't remember where...

If the ad was a picture of a large mixed drink with the caption 'Have your breath mints ready because this drink is worth risking a DWI for!' everyone would be incensed.  IMO, it's a similar concept just without the associated taboo (and risk to bystander lives).

Aside from all the other ridiculousness...

I wish people would realize that an EpiPen is not a "Get out of death free" card.  You can use it, you can even use more than one and be in the parking lot of the ER when you do that and sometimes it still won't be enough.
