btw it looks like it's made by General Mills (it's on the GM website) so I wonder why they aren't using advisory labeling like they supposedly do on other GM products. I know they don't have dedicated facilities but they are supposed to label for shared lines or other cross contamination risk.

We do use breyer and ben and jerry's and I think both have nuts in the facility and no dedicated lines, but they both seem to have pretty comprehensive methods of cleaning in between. I wonder how this company cleans.

Well bummer. It doesn't contain pn/tn but there are pn/tn in the facility.

Do you know who makes it? I know sometimes they brand things but it's not made by the maker of the original product. I would love to find something like this for my son. He appears to be lactose intolerant and can handle lactose free ice cream in small quantities but lactaid does not work for him when he has something like a BK shake (maybe it has too much milk in it). I wonder if frozen yogurt is better for this.
