Read it quickly twice gut reaction is n-i-c-e. Liked what I saw with the caveat I'm sure nothing's perfect but it seemed pretty darned well thought out with nice touches. Did not read it in depth yet there was one or two things in the text about what the child is responsible for but it references 504s without emotion, requests two epipens as preferred, non-food rewards, etc.
Is this a trap where it looks really good at first but it's really garbage and I'll regret saying heck yeah it looks great?
LOL, possibly a couple spider webs there . . .
But you/we/all need to discuss . . .
It really is important, IMHO.
So many of us have nothing or very little so far as LTFA policy and procedure at state level or district level.
But it is important to read and fully digest those policies that ARE out there:
the good, the bad, and the ugly. ;)
Roger that. Few things worse than having nothing but stunned silence up my sleeve because I didn't anticipate a riposte. I actually do need to read this in depth because we're moving to 504 in two years if not next year.
Ooh thanks--will look forward to reading.
And for the stranger to this area, it's pronounced Hen-rye-co. Long i.
