4,412 cases of HERB-OX® Beef Flavor Granulated Bouillon with "Best If Used By" dates of SEPT 2020 and OCT 2020 Are Affected
Creative Contract Packaging LLC is voluntarily recalling 4,412 cases, or 13,236 total pounds, of two code dates of HERB-OX® Beef Flavor Granulated Bouillon, due to the potential presence of an undeclared milk allergen.
Consumers who are allergic to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The recalled product is limited to 4 ounce jars with "Best If Used By" dates of SEPT 2020 and OCT 2020. The code date is located on top of the lid. A photo of the product and "Best If Used By" date appears below. Recalled product was sent to retailers and distributors nationwide.
Out of an abundance of caution and with an emphasis on its consumers' wellness and safety, the company is issuing the recall to ensure that consumers are made aware of the potential hazard. No reports have been received to date of any consumer injuries or complaints.
The firm discovered the issue during a routine label review.
No other sizes, varieties or other packaging configurations of HERB-OX® products are included in this recall.
If a consumer has this product, they can return it to the store where purchased for an exchange or refund or may call Creative Contract Packaging Customer Relations at 1-800-523-4635, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Central Time, Monday – Friday, excluding holidays.
