I saw these locally. Organic, cane sugar, no artificial dyes, and most importantly allergen info made in a segregated, separate part of a facility on dedicated equipment nut and gluten free. No direct milk ingredient though it may have had soy lecithin. I'm mulling over separate room and dedicated equipment. But they are made in USA. I think it's good enough for DS1's needs.
Are your products produced and/or packaged in a facility with other common allergens?
TruJoy Sweets Organic Candy Canes: We are proud to announce that our candy cane facility is now peanut free! Our organic candy canes are produced on dedicated nut-free, gluten-free, egg- free and dairy- free equipment in a segregated area of a facility that also processes dairy, eggs, soy, tree nuts and wheat. The candy cane production line is on a dedicated floor and has its own HVAC system.
TruJoy Sweets Organic Fruit Chews: Our organic fruit chews are manufactured on equipment used to process peanuts, tree nuts, dairy and soy.
I'd probably do it.
We have in the past but you know how I feel about comfort zones, lesser of evils, etc
Yeah, mostly just sharing w/anyone who might want a made in USA candy cane. For older we don't avoid tree nut or shared egg. Those are upcoming challenges.
