Guittard butterscotch, if you can get it, is far better than VNF butterscotch.

FAR.

oh gosh

Guittard butterscotch is the BOMB!

Desperately seeking those for holiday baking . . . used to be able to find at World Market, but most of those no longer carrying.

BTW, found some Guittard (think it was milk choc chips?) at a localish Ben Franklin.

Cannot recall if I posted that earlier . . . just sticking it in here now.

I will absolutely volunteer but there will be a delay with milky orders. I can do it np just need time for dedicated run and wash down after. DS1 can help Guittard's absolutely safe for him. For dark chocolate bars I can do those virtually anytime. I might even throw in a box or two of botan ame.  ;)

I may need to enlist the help of a guittard or scharffenberger fairy this fall.

:misspeak:you mean I didn't have to eat them myself?? :hiding:

LOL!  I found these recently at Whole Foods.....could not remember if they were safe........did not get an answer back when I called so I ordered VNF and proceeded to eat the chips myself for snacks!  I must say, they were quite yummy!

Oh mymymy!  This fairy has access to chips, baking chips in a bag a baking chips in a box, and at my grocery store they sell GIANT chocolate and white chocolate bars broken up. Santa brought me a chunk the was the size of a dinner plate.   It wasn't until after we had used it that it occurred to me the store's bakery must have done that and wow, aren't we happy to still be alive?

I can also be a Scharffenberger bar fairy.

I found semi sweet and milk chocolate guittard chips at Big Lots today.

I've also ordered the chips from World Wide Chocolate.  That certainly works when the weather is cooler.  I've found Hershey's chips at Wegmans (though they're not as yummy at Guittard).

World Market seems to change their stock as the season warms as well.  I have better luck finding Guittard after Halloween.

twinturbo -- the 50lb block sounds like fun if we return from west with pick ax after prospecting for gold.  LOL!

Doesn't the 50 lb block of melted chocolate chips sound like fun though? Like making my dreams as an 8 year old come true.
