QuoteAugust 2014: Wendy's Introduces New Sandwich Containing Egg and Milk

Thursday, August 21, 2014 1:59:00 PM

Wendy's recently introduced a new limited time offer sandwich, the Smoked Gouda Chicken on Brioche. This product is served on a brioche bun that contains egg and milk and should be avoided by egg and milk allergic consumers. The bun is also topped with an egg glaze and is placed in the same toaster as our premium sandwich buns, which are used for our larger sandwiches. The brioche bun may be used for future products as well. Each of our sandwiches are made to order, so please request your premium hamburger, chicken, or pretzel sandwich buns WITHOUT TOASTING if you have concerns about eggs and milk. Contact Wendy's Customer Service at (800)-443-7266 or consumer.relations@wendys.com with any additional questions.

I Eat the Mayo there.I  Eat the frosties and stuff there too. I trust Kraft, and haven't had issues with Oreos, so I don't avoid  the frosties or anything.

I may have to break down and get a Jr. Cheeseburger after reading this.

WEIRD question, but does anyone trust the mayo from Wendys?

We have not since they added all the mix-ins and different flavors.
Even original frosties? I don't see any mix ins that we would avoid on their own-we do trust original oreos. Do you avoid anything other than peanut and tree nut?

Yes-- egg as well.

We do not trust Oreos, however.  (Kraft.)

Thanks for posting this.  I had been too lazy to look up the info on the oreo frosty, and after reading them, I think I'll let DS try it.

Yeah, we do the Frosties.  But we're just dealing with PA.  I think DS has had the caramel added, too--whatever that item is called.

Do you all trust the ice cream products at Wendy's for PA/TNA?

Note - That the link provided is only for the US Wendy's only.  Please look at the Wendy's in your own country to find out what is safe.
