Here's what I found.
Gimbal's

Dove Chocolate Strawberry Swirl - DS has had these. Wowza.

I was so excited that I had finally found Utz pretzels in a store, they were chocolate covered heart shaped ones.
Then I read them. They had a warning for everything under the sun, including peanuts.
Locally people are finding Gimballs Cinnamon Candies as well (World Market, Ingles and Target or Kroger).

I bought the sort of stuff I'm horribly against in principle, especially for school. Stuff like gummy bracelets, huge Tootsie pops, they're only supposed to be for DS1 but there's no way he's eating a box by himself. I have to weigh how I feel about him passing out candy in class all danger aside. His dental check ups haven't been bad, but he's been fighting all greens way too hard. Then again who does that sound like as a kid? (Hint: yours truly)
Did I ever tell you guys about the time I swallowed a penny when I was six? Sticking my finger in a socket after being told not to? All at six.
Never have seen the gummy bands. Where did you find them? Maybe they are not on the east coast.
A store called Winco. I don't know how far out they go East or if they're owned by anything else.
They are local here-- PNW only, I think.
I'm SO going to get BiMart's supply of those Gimball's cherry hearts later today.
Then I'm going to eat them until I look even more like Jabba the Hut.
I picked up a heart-shaped tin of Hershey's Kisses for DD at Wegman's last night.
Target has utz pretzel valentines with disney cars / princess shapes. IE cars / tiara shaped pretzels. They are peanut and tree nut safe. I bought some for my daughter to pass out.
Since DS has outgrown almonds, I'm buying some melting wafers from VNF and am making him some almond bark.

It sure was and it made me feel slightly less neurotic about my label reading.
Our WalMart and Target have the gummy bands. My DD wanted to get those for her class today, but we picked out pencils and stickers instead. =) My DS turns 6 on V-Day so we are sending in good bags instead of treats to the class. And doing a Lego party on the 15th. I am VERY excited about it, it's a good distraction and I LOVE throwing parties for the kids!!!! :happydance:
Hersheyettes have no warnings on them. My pa/tna dd does not even want to try them though, so I don't push it, but my son loves them (and I won't buy any unsafe food at all so he's happy to get these).
My family can't do the gummy bands due to the gelatin, so I won't give them out. I think we are doing the pixie sticks since they are allergy friendly.
File even more under the header edible yet not food: Pink heart Peeps. The only warning was for milk may contain.

Saw these at my local KMart. In MA, if that helps anyone. Chose not to buy them. Dd wanted them, but we have stuff at home already.
I found an individually wrapped, chocolate covered marshmallow heart by Hershey that has no warning on it for peanuts/tree nuts. It does have an egg warning, though. I have only seen it at Stop and Shop around here.
I saw the king size of the Hershey Marshmallow Hearts at Target.
