Oh yes, I know all about that.  When they briefly thought elder son had celiac, I was in a total panic thinking about that and the nut flours that are used.

But really, I can't get the "chick pea smoothie" out of my head.  Blech.

Be careful of gluten free baked goods as well.  Chick peas and pea proteins are often used to balance.

Apparently they're showing up in smoothies now. We've only seen them in Naked brand, but they're something I'd not even have considered looking for there, so.
