Self-diagnosis may well hurt YOU, and it also indirectly hurts people whose lives are immeasurably difficult already, too.   Sure, it's like drops of water filling the ocean-- but the difference between 25-30% and 1-3% in a nation of hundreds of millions of people...  is a lot of drops of water.

In SpEd this is a nightmare for kids with LTFA. They control perception which affects protected activities.
