Someone else preparing food for me : unprotected sex
Someone I trust to cook for me offered to bring dinner. After I ate it, her DH slipped that it was actually her mom that made it.
That's kind of like unprotected sex with someone wearing a mask. :misspeak:
It was soooo good. But.....
Does this make me a slut?
The relevant part is probably more that it makes her coercive via deliberate misrepresentation.
Yeah-- she was pimping Mom, and leaving you none the wiser. So it wasn't really 'consensual' for either one of you. :-/
What I actually find most useful about this particular analogy is that it has a certain SHOCK value about it that jolts others out of what they think that they "know" about allergies and food, and forces them to consider the kind of actual level of trust/consent that they are demanding so casually from us.
I know there are folks at church who don't get why DS can't eat the cookies they made or I eat the sandwich someone brought.
Maybe this analogy could be useful there?
