Obviously the doctor and nurse did not impress upon the mother and daughter the serious nature of the daughter's allergy enough to get them to understand the need to carry epis and not eat Chinese food, etc.  How can this be?  Why does this keep happening?  Doctors need to do a much, much better job so we don't have to read things that say, 'we didn't know...'  ever again.
