DS1 just teared up thinking about that.  I think I did as well.  Hampton Creek has changed our lives even prior to this - this could potentially be life changing for us.

I was thinking it would be really weird to put mayo and cookie dough on the same lines but then I should check just in case.  If I can find it I'll call or email about it.

I have not  :hiding:  But my comfort level for DS2 is probably more lax than others due to his lack of reactions.

By any chance has anyone with peanut allergy concerns called about shared equipment or otherwise where the company produces its peanut butter cookies?  No worries if not I'll email.

And really thank Maeve because she posted an article about Kraft wanting to stop Just Mayo from calling itself "mayo".  I must admit, had she not posted it, I would have never thought to pick up the jar in the midst of a mayo section and check because I would have assumed it was truly mayonnaise.

I have mixed feelings about Kraft being the mayo police but wonder if Hampton Creek realizes they could open up a new world for those with allergies just by changing their name.  Or making it clearer it was vegan.

Mac will be horrified - DH tossed the Duke's yesterday.  He thinks Just Mayo tastes better  :misspeak:

I will probably get DS2 his own jar/bottle - Daddy lets him make sandwiches and he still struggles with the not double dipping concept.

I have got to look for this stuff!

http://www.hamptoncreek.com/just-mayo

This stuff is amazing.  We found it at Walmart a few months ago, it is comparable in price to mayo/salad dressing and it tastes good.  To me it's like mayo married salad dressing (aka Miracle Whip).

Rumor is that Target carries it (our Target is never a good judge, they clearance stuff after 5 minutes so I never find it) and Kroger (again, never found it).  I am finding it consistently at various Super Walmarts and Walmart Markets (okay, we have five locally that I can and do frequent).

We just found it at Publix tonight!

I don't even want to discuss how many containers we have inhaled lately.  DS1 has NEVER been a fan of Veganaise and he loves this stuff.
