Casein is a plasticizer.  I'm pretty sure it's changed to the point that it's no longer an allergenic protein when it comes to its use in latex condoms and plastics.  I could be wrong.  The issue with its use in condoms is primarily of concern to vegans, from what I've noticed over the last two decades.

Holy Cow!  I never knew this, and  I spend a lot of time around condoms (no, I'm not a sex worker ;-) ).
