You would bring your own pots and pans, utensils, salt shaker, everything?  What way would you be able to communicate with the outside world?

If I went, i would take translation cards for emergencies. I had one in Spanish here somewhere that had language for needing to get to a hospital. I had a translator help me create it.

We had bad luck on a Disney Cruise several years ago (anaphylaxis due to apparent cross-contamination) so don't want to go back on a big, commercial cruise. Boy was that scary!  But I am thinking about a charter boat trip where we would cook our own food.  We would be cruising around some islands in the Caribbean.  I am interested in input on this. Even though we would cook all our own food, I do worry about not being close to a hospital.
