Hezzier I'm so glad it worked out well for you!  Recipe's a keeper.

We can move this to recipes now. I initially put it in OT to get response.

We have to avoid dairy, wheat, eggs, treenuts, peanuts, and lentils and legumes.  So we rely on Cherrybrook Kitchens mixes...  our daughter loves making them .. her favourites are chocolate chip cookie mix, cake mix, and brownie mix.

This vegan vanilla cupcake recipe is wonderful!  I made them tonight.  DD and friends will be decorating them tomorrow like owls and cats.

I made choc chip cookie dough truffles and nobody here really liked them.

Care to share your recipe Hezz? No allergens other than sesame

http://artofdessert.blogspot.com/2008/10/my-ultimate-chocolate-chip-cookie.html

this cookie recipe, make balls of dough (I like small pampered chef scoop for sizing), chill, melt chocolate of your choice, coat cookie dough balls with chocolate, chill and enjoy.  work in small batches.  Then when the bowl of chocolate was getting low and too thick to work with, I mixed in different things to make a bark with it (m&ms, pretzels, marshmallows, candy canes, etc)

That is the upside of egg-free baking.  I love it when we bake cookies at Christmas (plus the cream cheese-based dough I use is so yummy).

YES!!  And I've started making chocolate chip cookie dough truffles with it.  Scoop the dough into small balls, chill and then coat with your preferred chocolate.  They are a huge hit!!

Will have to keep this recipe in mind for a cake I need to make in February!  Cake looks great
