Though, with only 16 people in the study with a history of reaction to almond, were the others diagnosed as allergic by testing alone? Were they truly allergic in the first place? I was interested to see that only 7% of those with past reaction failed the challenge though.  I wonder if those who passed outgrew the almond allergy?
