I read this in my local paper this morning.  I was disgusted!

Is it just me or is Unilever going after the wrong folks?  The reality is that even if a small percentage switch over to Hampton Creek for the health benefits, the majority are never going to buy Hellmans Mayo because they want a vegan mayo by choice, allergy or intolerance.

Hellmans is likely losing more customers to store brands (cheaper) or Dukes (because it tastes better).

Maybe I am wrong in thinking they are doing this because they are losing money.

(And I admit that had Maeve not posted about the lawsuit initially, I would have never looked for Just Mayo because mayo = eggs.  This is one of the tastiest subs we have found to the point we even stopped buying Dukes.  We always have two jars of Just Mayo in the fridge - one for DS1, one for the sloppier family members).
