You're so lucky you're in Canada.  I ordered a peanut-free advent calendar from Peanut Free Planet last year.  It was made in Canada.

Guardian Angel Foods has one you can order for $8.99 plus delivery.  It's peanut, dairy, and egg free.  May contain traces of wheat.

I've never tried it, but the Guardian Angel products I have tried are delicious.

That was the brand we purchased last year.  I used to salivate over their ads for cakes in Allergic Living (before I got switched to American version of the magazine).  I'll purchase one again this year and also order the egg/nut-free gingerbread house kit again.  DD has already asked about making a gingerbread house again this year.

We do the Lego Advent calendar :)

Us too and this year we got the Star Wars one! I might go get the city one so both boys have a lego one to open.

And YAY for us... we can do a REGULAR gingerbread house kit this year .... no restrictions (well, other than no sesame)

I think Target had a nut/egg/gluten free advent calendar last year.  I may just go buy one that I can fill with safe candies instead.  Outset is more but can be used for multiple kids from year to year.

does anyone else think the chocolate in most advent calendars tastes pretty nasty? Yuck  :disappointed:

But of course, my MIL still buys them for the boys..... one of whom doesn't even EAT chocolate (unless it's on a reeses cup! lol)

The Les Chocolates Vadeboncoeur brand advent calendar at Shopper`s should be different as they make good tasting chocolate!!  :)

But we're not canadian and don't have access to that brand I don't think? (I don't want it for allergen reasons but I DO find the chocolate SO gross in most of them). Is there a place to order that brand online?

Sometimes Peanut Free Planet can get things like that. They do carry that brand sometimes so I would email and ask them.

Hi there,

Can you please tell me which Shopper's location you saw the Vadeboncoeur ones?  I have called about a dozen SDM and can't find them.

Thanks!

Hi there,

I actually managed to find them at a Shoppers by my workplace in Mississauga.  If anyone's interested the price for these are $5.99 and there are only 24 days on the calendars.
