Hi all, I just had to share this here because you all understand!  This year, our school district finally adopted the policy of not letting students celebrate birthdays with food (due to concerns about caloric intake and food allergies).  In addition, nut-containing foods can only be eaten in the cafeteria now.
Better late than never I guess...my son started 8th grade this year and he's been in the school since kindergarten!
