The allergist called it a significant reaction and that we dodged a bullet. 

I have been reading in bits and pieces as time allows.  Thank you for the 'welcome' it looks like a very informative site.

allergies just diagnosed.  No tree nuts / no foods manufactured in a plant with  tree nuts and carrying an epi pen now.  It's a learning curve.
