Food Allergy Update 2014

Didn't read this yet but the tagline at the end was precious NEVER TRUST A MASS CELL! USE EPI!  Alrighty then.

As an aside I swear that NO ONE cites this study correctly with specific respect to validity, limitations of the study and exclusions.  Simonte and Sicherer JACI 2003;112:180-2.  It does not mean interpret it however the hell you want.  2 mL PB small of back for 30 seconds on patient aware it's there then wiped off by staff.  A chaotic classroom of PB&Js and cups it is not.

She was DD's first allergist.     I'm tellin y'all we have been lucky, lucky, lucky with the physicians we've encountered in our journey.  VERY lucky.

DD's life is probably owed to the advice (terrifying-- but accurate and no-frills) we got from Dr. Ott-- and the ER physician who saw our 11mo DD the day she anaphylaxed for the first time.
