Happy story:

I was Christmas baking at a friend's house yesterday (she's OCD about cleaning and checking ingredients before we bake - trust her 100%).  My friend's kids washed their hand after eating a snack and returned to say 'my hands are extra clean so Auntie doesn't get sick'.  The snack didn't have any of my allergens, but she was telling her kids we have to be extra careful with cleaning when I come over and bake.  Those kids are going to grow up with an appreciation for allergies because their Mum is so aware and accommodating.

When I read this, my first thought was "that would be one good thing about fa's.....your kid probably wouldn't have eaten these cookies.
